I am interested in developing an argument around the ever expanding Shakespeare's collaborators theory. Does anyone remember, or better yet have a textual citation, on what was the general belief on collaborators before say 1980. My memory is that Pericles was always believed to be written in collaboration. But I don't remember anything else. What used to be the traditional Strafordian belief on collaboration before 1980?
